Thoughts

Dear Mandeep and Family - Mother brings us to the earth and it is the first relation we have on this earth. Nothing compensates the loss. Our wishes are with your family to bear the loss of Mummiji, while she continues to live in your heart. She will be remembered now, more - when you look at her empty bed, the chair, the place where she used to sit and probably at your Rose garden. Take care.

Our Mumiji Thank you for being our mother, for loving us, caring for us, hugging us, laughing with us and just being you. Losing Dad 33 years ago, you stood strong and dignified and still continued to be the pillar of strength that we all needed, no matter what. I will remember the time we spent in our garden and how you loved your roses and lilies. Hours you spent selecting the right rose in a garden center, while I waited patiently. They are indeed the best roses, liked by everyone today. And oh boy, the countless times we tried to grow the rose grafting before we were finally successful. And then you wouldn’t stop!!! We will remember when I was late (and not for the first time), you were the first one to hold Pradeep when he was born and the time you spent with Sumeet in Hawaii, which you held very dear in your heart. We will miss the glint in your eyes when Amarjeet made you your favourite “Meetha Chol and Dahi Bhalla”, Idli Sambar, Pav Bhaji and every Saturday the mandatory Parantha. Mila will miss her day companion and warm feet to curl beside. We will all hold dear the Christmas of 2023, which was sadly your last; you sitting at the dining table and enjoying the glazed carrots with all your family and loved ones around you. You will continue to live in our hearts and memories forever.

Dear mumiji, You loved us, one and all. From food and meds To gifts and warm beds, You gave us your all. A full life you led, Filled with kids and doggies, Celebrations and weddings. You taught us that life is what we make of it. What we remember the most Is the time we spent Talking about nothing in particular. And ever so quietly You sped away. And we are here today, All of us, Not to say goodbye. We will wait to meet again Another day.
